The Festival de Globo is scheduled for November 19 through November 22, 2010 in Leon, Mexico.

FESTIVAL INTERNACIONAL DEL GLOBOS DE LEON - 2010

Celebrating the Bicentinneal of the Mexican Independence and the Centinneal of the Mexican Revollution. 

Finally, we are ready to start accepting applications for this years' event.  If you are interested in attending, please download the one file which contains all of the documentation you require.  The link is at the bottom of this page. This book has been consolidated to make it easier to download, fill out and register for the event.  Read all documents very carefully.  The information is important.  Please send the application and all required information to me.  The selection will be primarily from past pilots, then new pilots.  Getting your application to me on time counts.  This year, the event is giving an all paid vacation to one pilot and crew chief, who gets the applications on time, complete, without error by the deadline.  Getting the applications done and submitted on time makes a huge difference to the staff.  The pilot application comes in a pdf file for those that want to fill it in by hand, scan, it and email it back, or put it in the snail mail.  Also you may use the Word document to fill in the data for the pilot applicaiton, or scan the pdf forms and return them by email (which is THE preferred method of filing).

I need a few ride balloons for this year.  The organizers will pay $50 per passenger.

PASSPORT AND IDENTIFICATION:
It is critical that you furnish your complete and exact name on all documents furnished to the festival.  THE PROBLEM IS: US CUSTOMS AND IMMIGRATION!  If your passport does not match your airline ticket, you WILL be denied boarding.  This is not a trivial matter.  It means I may get to fly your balloon for you!
